Happening to notice when the final wick of my Christmas candle extinguished itself silently, yet dramatically,
Pistachios in a dear little bowl in the sunlight,
Curry made from a recipe that Kayleen passed on to me,
Snowy Tim Hortons walks to try out the new white chocolate pistachio latte,
Exchanging many texts with a friend over the course of the morning, simply inefficiently plotting an afternoon hang-out plan,
Quiet evenings with great people, shawarma, and gentle instrumental music (plus “Defying Gravity” from Wicked, naturally),
A monochromatic situation. One should always strive to blend in with their blanket, should they not?
An amaryllis undergoing a noticeable growth spurt a couple weeks after being planted,
Colder weather and more snow in the forecast,
Looking through a friend’s new cookbook while keeping an eye on her sleeping babies,
A sweetly packaged and DELICIOUS meal sent by a sweet mom-in-law,
Visiting a new cafe with some favourite people while snow falls magically and falling a little bit in love with their mugs and plates,
The glow of the setting sun.
